hotSACKS Launches Fashionable Eco-bags

VICTORIA - Finally, fashion meets function as hotSACKS launches its line of reusable, eco-friendly shopping bags.

With funky patterns and trendy colours, hotSACKS strives to answer the plastic problem with its stylish and affordable collection of shopping essentials.

“Who says going green can’t also be fashionable and fun,” says hotSACKS founder Diana Nethercott. “I designed them for the grocery store but they’re great for everything from trips to the library to an afternoon on the beach. One customer even gave a wedding present inside a hotSACKS ‘gift’ bag!”

Fully recyclable, hotSACKS are made from durable, 100 per cent non-woven polypropylene, 30 percent of which is recycled material. They are odorless, contain no poison and have no toxic by-products.

These bags have earned the right to use the EcoLogo, North America's most widely recognized and respected certification of environmental leadership. The EcoLogo is your assurance that hotSACKS are an environmentally preferable - or green - product.

“There are lots of reusable bags out there but most are unattractive advertising gimmicks for retailers,” says Nethercott. “With hotSACKS, you’ll buy them for fashion but love them for function.”

hotSACKS are sold individually or as a set of four larger bags inside a smaller, versatile carry bag. Lightweight and yet extremely strong, each bag holds the equivalent of three or four traditional plastic bags. A set of bags can easily carry a week’s-worth of groceries for a family of four.
